Tap into the power of the subconscious mind and attract the life you want while releasing anything that’s holding you back
Did you know that up to 95% of our thoughts, beliefs, and habits are determined by our subconscious?
That means that only 5% of what we do is the result of what we decide to do in our logical mind! It’s no wonder that true, lasting change is so hard. Think of how many times you’ve tried to break an unwanted habit, or build a new one, only to have that growth disappear for seemingly no reason. That’s your subconscious mind keeping you safe by making sure you stick to what’s known.
Hypnosis works with the 95% of the mind that’s running on autopilot - the subconscious programming that’s shaped, for the most part, by the time we are 8 years old. By changing subconscious knowns and unknowns to be in alignment with what we truly desire, we create new habits and ways of being that last.

About Hypnosis
Hypnosis is a natural state that we all experience each day - that 30 minutes or so before we go to sleep, right after we wake up, while absorbed in a movie or even while driving. It's a state of narrow focus and deep relaxation that we can all achieve. During hypnosis, our subconscious mind is open to suggestions that can make change easy, automatic and effortless.
My training is in Kappassinian Hypnosis - a modality pioneered by Dr. John Kappas in the 1950s. What’s unique about Kappassinian Hypnosis is that each individual’s learning style is taken into account, making it possible for everyone to utilize the benefits of hypnosis - even those thought to be unable to be hypnotized. In addition, Dr. Kappas originated the E&P Model of human sexuality (behavior) that is an incredibly useful tool for understanding relationships and predicting and shaping behavior. E&P can help clients understand romantic relationships as well as family dynamics and work relationships.

Hypnosis is not mind control - in fact, it’s a collaborative process that requires full client participation and results in more control in all areas of your life. It’s a “doing with” - not a “doing to” process, and the transformative results are undeniable.
About Me
I’m Crystal, and I’m passionate about the transformative power of the subconscious mind. As a Certified Master Hypnotist, I am ready to guide you on your journey towards the life you deserve - whether that’s one where you’re reaching your full creative potential, attracting the romantic partner of your dreams, or releasing weight and letting go of old habits.
In addition to my certification from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute, I hold a BA in Anthropology from the University of Illinois, and have long been interested in how our ancient human ancestry impacts our thoughts, patterns, and habits.
I believe that understanding our origins can help us translate our current blocks and behaviors. I’m also passionate about everything mind-body - for me, hypnotherapy is the ultimate tool for connecting us to our truest, most powerful selves.
I’m honored to be entrusted with your beautiful mind, and look forward to collaborating with you to create the change you desire.
Hypnosis & Zoom:
a Natural Fit
Many people are surprised to learn that hypnotherapy can be conducted effectively on Zoom. In fact, it’s a natural fit. Imagine: you are in your own home, relaxed and at ease, in familiar surroundings, ready to embark on a journey inward. Before your first session, I will provide detailed instructions on how to set up our meeting for success. Afterwards, you have the benefit of being in a safe environment where you can relax and take the time necessary to recalibrate before moving on with your day.
Not the Zoom type? I’m also available for in-person sessions at my office in Woodland Hills, CA!
Areas of Interest
Hypnosis and hypnotherapy are powerful tools that can treat a wide spectrum of issues and conditions. From becoming “unstuck” and moving into a more confident state to crush your goals to eradicating fears and phobias, hypnosis makes your goals automatic and second nature. While the list of what hypnosis can treat stretches from agoraphobia to writer’s block, here are some areas that I especially enjoy working in:
Weight Loss
While peptides like semaglutide have revolutionized weight loss in recent years, many people find that the underlying patterns regarding weight remain. That’s because our subconscious programming is running up to 95% of our thoughts, habits, and actions. The beauty of hypnotherapy is that together we tackle the root cause of excess weight - and together, we come up with a plan for lasting, permanent change that’s 100% natural. Please note that a doctor’s referral may be required for weight loss above 25 lbs.
Motivation & Confidence
You’re not unmotivated, you’re just running on old programming! We often think that confidence and motivation are states that “just happen,” but in reality, they are both states that can be learned and practiced. Tapping into the subconscious, we release blocks that may be standing in the way and show up as a fear of success or fear of failure.
Anxiety
A life with anxiety means living in survival mode 24/7. In the hypnotic state, your mind can learn to move into a more resourced, calm state and break the fight/flight response. Hypnosis is deeply relaxing and you will experience relief in a relatively short time.
Fears & Phobias
Driving anxiety and social phobias like public speaking are very common, and can be extremely disruptive in a person’s life. They are both manageable with hypnosis. Together we work towards rewiring your subconscious to no longer view your fears or phobias as a threat. Don’t settle for a diminished quality of life because of driving anxiety or social phobias when a safe, all-natural solution is waiting!
Goal Setting & Achievement
Feeling “stuck” is a common symptom of our modern lives: faced with an overload of environmental stimuli, many of us go into “freeze” mode and don’t know why. In the hypnotic state, your mind can learn to focus, feel the outcome of positive action, and become familiar with success, making achievement automatic, easy, and second nature.
